Dioptres (D/dpt./PWR)
Power refers to the refractive power of the contact lens. Look for a plus (+) or minus (-) sign. Note that an equals sign (=) may be used in place of a minus sign.
Curvature (BC)
The base curve describes the curvature of the contact lens surface, i.e. how well the lens fits the shape of your eye.
Diameter (DIA)
The diameter is the width of the contact lens (measured in millimeters). It is not recommended to select a new diameter size without first consulting your optician. Diameter impacts the fit, comfort and functionality of your lenses.
Cylinder (CYL)
The cylinder measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. It is a negative value that corrects curvature of the cornea.
Cylinder Axis (AX)
The cylinder axis measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. The value ranges from 0° - 180° and determines the exact position of corneal curvature.
Addition (ADD)
Addition is the difference between the dioptric value for distance vision and the dioptric value for near vision. It indicates the magnifying power in multifocal lenses.

We offer an economy pack for monthly contact lenses Air Optix Aqua with ReNu MultiPlus 360 ml solution.
Air Optix Aqua are monthly silicon hydrogel contact lenses by Alcon designed for daily wear. Air Optix Aqua offer all the advantages of silicon-hydrogel in combination with higher water content, high oxygen permeability and improved resistance against deposits.
Their oxygen permeability allows the wearers to occasionally sleep with the contacts in (for a maximum of 6 nights). The prolonged wear of Air Optix Aqua should be consulted with an optician.
Air Optix Aqua contact lenses are more resistant against protein build-up thanks to their special surface plasma technology which provides deposit protection.
Air Optix Aqua contact lenses have been discontinued. The only versions available are the ones currently in stock. Users of Air Optix Aqua contacts can start using the new Air Optix Plus Hydraglyde lenses without a new prescription.
ReNu MultiPlus from Bausch & Lomb is a multi-purpose solution for the complete care of all types of soft contact lenses. This versatile solution rinses, disinfects and moisturises lenses, and removes proteins and lipids contained in tears. It includes pH balancing boric acid and poloxamine, which removes the outer remnants of cellular tissues.
