How to select parameters?

Dioptres (D/dpt./PWR)
Power refers to the refractive power of the contact lens. Look for a plus (+) or minus (-) sign. Note that an equals sign (=) may be used in place of a minus sign.
Curvature (BC)
The base curve describes the curvature of the contact lens surface, i.e. how well the lens fits the shape of your eye.
Diameter (DIA)
The diameter is the width of the contact lens (measured in millimeters). It is not recommended to select a new diameter size without first consulting your optician. Diameter impacts the fit, comfort and functionality of your lenses.
Cylinder (CYL)
The cylinder measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. It is a negative value that corrects curvature of the cornea.
Cylinder Axis (AX)
The cylinder axis measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. The value ranges from 0° - 180° and determines the exact position of corneal curvature.
Addition (ADD)
Addition is the difference between the dioptric value for distance vision and the dioptric value for near vision. It indicates the magnifying power in multifocal lenses.

Biofinity XR are monthly silicone hydrogel contact lenses manufactured from CooperVision using the unique AQUAFORM ™. This revolutionary technology uses a silicon monomer, which enables more efficient oxygen permeability. The material used in Biofinity XR lenses is non-ionic. On their surface, no areas show evidence of the charge which is why almost no proteins bind to them. A smooth, perfectly moist surface contact lens, Biofinity XR significantly reduces the deposits of lipid residues. The great advantage of Biofinity XR lenses is their aspherical front surface, which improves their optical properties, especially acuity in low light conditions, and enables the correction of astigmatism and presbyopia. Biofinity XR lenses are intended for the correction of high powers – both plus and minus, with a daily wear regimen. Following the recommendation of a doctor however, they may be worn continuously.

Extended wear? How long ann contact lens remain in eye before changing?

Thank you for your question. Extended wear lenses, or lenses that are designed to be worn during nighttime as well can stay in the eye for up to 3 days.
However, as lenses naturally accumulate microscopic debris, particles and bacteria and slowly lose their moisture, it is still highly recommended one places them in solution every night between uses.
In addition, if a strong irritation or stinging sensation becomes noticable, it is also recommended one removes them for cleaning and rehydration as soon as possible.
