Dioptres (D/dpt./PWR)
Power refers to the refractive power of the contact lens. Look for a plus (+) or minus (-) sign. Note that an equals sign (=) may be used in place of a minus sign.
Curvature (BC)
The base curve describes the curvature of the contact lens surface, i.e. how well the lens fits the shape of your eye.
Diameter (DIA)
The diameter is the width of the contact lens (measured in millimeters). It is not recommended to select a new diameter size without first consulting your optician. Diameter impacts the fit, comfort and functionality of your lenses.
Cylinder (CYL)
The cylinder measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. It is a negative value that corrects curvature of the cornea.
Cylinder Axis (AX)
The cylinder axis measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. The value ranges from 0° - 180° and determines the exact position of corneal curvature.
Addition (ADD)
Addition is the difference between the dioptric value for distance vision and the dioptric value for near vision. It indicates the magnifying power in multifocal lenses.

1-DAY Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism silicon hydrogel toric contact lenses by Johnson & Johnson correct astigmatism. They offer, apart from high comfort, the patented HydraLuxe technology which reduces eyestrain symptoms and prevents the eyes from getting dry.
Thanks to the innovative HydraLuxe technology, the Acuvue Oasys 1-Day for Astigmatism contact lenses contain molecules which are very similar to physiological tears. The moisturising component is present directly in the lens material, as opposed to just its surface, which means the moisturising is much more effective. The tear-like molecules support the tear film positively and thus ensure healthy and comfortable wear.
The main reason they're considered so comfortble is the ease with which they slide in the eye without problems, and the optimized solution in the contact lens blister which imitates tears and makes the contacts feel comfortable from the moment you put them in.
Acuvue Oasys 1-Day for Astigmatism contact lenses have a light blue tint for easier manipulation and a UV filter which blocks 90% of UVA and almost 99% of UVB radiation.
The UV filter in contact lenses increases the protection of the cornea from the dangerous ultraviolet radiation. However, lenses do not cover the entire eye or eye area, so the combination of contact lenses that have UV filter and sunglasses is the ideal protection against harmful UV rays.
